Comic Strip Project
Reflections
Aloha! Last quarter I did another project in Biology called Photosynthesis and Cellular respiration Comic stip. It was required in this project to make a comic strip about the process of Photosynthesis and cellular respiration while including all the given vocabulary words. I drew the inside workings of a plant when photosynthesis occurred, making sure to include the chemical formulas. Then I repeated the same thing but with cellular respiration. I also included a diagram of how photosynthesis and cellular respiration work together.
I chose to show this work sample, because I worked really hard on it, and because I am proud of how my comic strip turned out. I really like how I drew eyes on the organelles involved because it makes them look like part of a story in the comic strip.
I feel that this assignment represents Communication Skills because we are communicating the information about photosynthesis and respiration in a unique way by converting it into a comic strip.
This assignment challenged me because I was required to have a deep understanding of the topics, and then I was required to communicate it to others through art. So I think that it shows how far we’ve come on photosynthesis and respiration.
I could improve on this work by maybe not using the template squares, so I could give myself more room. Resulting in neater work.
